Australian performance artist Stelarc appeared at the Edinburgh Science Festival today to show off his third ear, a surgically constructed ear which is attached to his left arm. Stelarc who's real name is Stelios Arcadiou is looking to take this concept further by implanting a microphone into the ear and hooking it up to the internet via WIFI so that people around the world can listen in to what his ear is hearing.
