A police convoy leaves Greenock Prison to take Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali Al-Megrahi to Glasgow airport where a plane awaits to take him back to Lybia. Al-Megrahi had been serving a life sentence for the bombing of Pan-Am flight 103 but after a battle with prostate cancer was released on compassionate grounds by Scotland's Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill.
